Brayden has taken to doing a lot of new things lately...shocking I know. He scoots around on his tummy like an inchworm, pulls electronics down on himself (just his monitor, I promise!), and this...our favorite of all the new things because what child does this? Front leaning rest position is the technical Army term I do believe. Push ups, anyone?
And because he is now mobile and very quick when he puts his mind to it, he is relegated to the pack and play if he's awake when I need to get a shower. But like any good 8 month old, he's begun planning his escape.
But one must have their beauty sleep after all that work, and this is how I found him this morning during his nap...he played himself sleepy...
and clearly needed less light for his afternoon nap

Brayden's First Snow!!!
So it's big news in these parts that we have snow in March. Now granted, there wasnt much to speak of where we live, but thats besides the point here in Harker Heights. Where Luke and I come from...not such a big deal...but we're not in Indiana anymore now are we? Anyways...since Brayden was a summer baby, he had yet to experience snow...that is until today. So, like any good mother, I bundled both of us up (because it still was 35 degrees out), and took him outside at about 7 am before the sun melted what little snow we have. All of this so I could chronicle his first snow and bring the exclusive photos to our loyal readers (and so my neighbors could talk about the crazy lady who had her kid sitting on the driveway at 7 am taking pictures of him in his snowsuit). Here is our little snow bunny!
And this one because we all know playing in the snow, no matter how long, is a tiring buisness!

We are alive...
...but have been a bit under the weather. Luke and I have been fighting colds and Brayden has been fighting double ear infections. Add to that a new computer that doesnt have our camera software (and we lack to motiavtion to intall it) and there is our sad excuse of not posting. Hopefully the next few days will bring better health and increased motivation!
